Reliable, Long-Lasting Protection for Truly Sensitive Skin
I’ve been using California Baby Super Sensitive on and off for more than 10 years, and it remains one of the most dependable sunscreens I’ve ever tried. The formula is thick and provides excellent sun-blocking power, which is exactly why it works so well. Once applied, it stays on for a long time, and I rarely feel the need to reapply frequently. Most importantly, it genuinely protects—no sunburn whatsoever.This sunscreen is a great choice for sensitive skin like mine. It doesn’t sting the eyes at all, which is a huge plus, and it feels safe to use. I appreciate that it’s free from harsh chemicals and harmful ingredients. Another big advantage is that it doesn’t stain clothes, something I’ve struggled with when using other sunscreens.The only downside is the texture. Because it’s quite thick, it takes extra time and effort to rub in completely, especially when applying to larger areas of skin. That said, this minor inconvenience is worth it for the level of protection and skin comfort it provides.Overall, this is a highly effective, safe, and trustworthy sunscreen for anyone with sensitive skin who wants strong, long-lasting sun protection.

Safe and effective
I’ve been using this since my son was born 8 years ago, for both of us. First, it’s not toxic like many other products. It’s a barrier sunblock. Second, it really really works. I have never ever gotten a burn while wearing this, and my son has never in his 8 years experienced a sunburn thanks to this product. The downside is that it’s a little harder to rub in than regular sunblocks, but that doesn’t bother me much. It does rub in eventually, even to adult satisfaction. You also have to be careful because it’s white until rubbed in and will get on clothing. It comes out in the wash, though. It has not permanently stained any of my swimsuits. I also wear this for sports outdoors when I sweat a lot, and it has never stung my eyes. It also doesn’t come off in the pool – I don’t reapply, and still don’t get burned, and neither does my son even though I only put it on him in the morning and sometimes he’s at camp in the pool all day. It’s really a great product for parents who want to put something safe and effective on their kids.

BEST SUNSCREEN EVER!!!
This is by far the best sunscreen I have ever purchased. I have kids who are allergic to sunscreen. Their eyes itch/burn/run and so does their nose. They look like they have a bad cold every time I was putting on sunscreen. I couldn’t figure out what was happening (this happened with every brand, I tried them all out there)until my sister in law turned me on to California Baby. This sunscreen not only, works REALLY WELL but doesn’t irritate them. It is also very low on the EWG list of harmful sunscreens (i think it is rated a 1 or 2) I have been using it for years now. This is the ONLY brand that is in our house. We call it “Liquid Gold”. It is costly, but it is worth the money. To have the kids be able to play in the sun without worry is so nice. We have been to the beach many time with it and they get NO TAN! Actually, none of us get red. I missed a few spots on my back with the sunscreen and was on the beach. By the time we went home, I had Huge red marks from the spots that I missed with sunscreen, but the other places that got the sunscreen had nothing. I actually had an outline from where my fingers missed! It really blocks the sun. I am so happy and thankful, there is a company out there that actually cares about my kids. We use all California Baby products on my kids! Safe and effective, what more can you want??

Safe, but very thick
This is one of the safest sunscreens on the market based on the research I have done. My pediatrician even said I could use it on a baby as young as 2 months based on recent changes in the AAP recommendations. I am very careful on what I use for my children’s products and so safety is going to outweigh convenience, price, etc. This stuff is way more expensive than any mainstream competitor including BabyGanics. It is extremely thick and hard to apply, which is annoying, especially with two young boys. But it does provide legitimate sun protection – my toddler will play outside all day in the blazing sun with this stuff on and he’s fine. Downsides are consistency and price. But upsides are safety and effectiveness.

I’ve been using this product for myself and my 2.5-yr-old daughter (both fair-skinned) for a couple of months now. The main reason for choosing titanium/zinc dioxide based sunscreen was the recommendation by the EWG. So after reading reviews on different brands, I decided on California Baby (also tried Blue Lizard but got some allergy reaction)So far, I like it and find it quite effective. It is smooth and easy to rub in. Even though my daughter cannot stand still for more than 2 sec., I have no troubles putting it on her.No allergies, no sunburns (tested on a Florida beach), no complaints whatsoever.The only disadvantage is that it’s a bit pricey and you need to reapply it from time to time throughout the day. But it’s worth the money.

No sunburns for us!
I used this all of last summer on my baby who was under 9 months old. I was especially hesitant to use regular sunscreens at her young age since their skin absorbs everything. This has a great EWG rating, so I felt better knowing we were using something safe for her. It isn’t always possible to wear long sleeves and a hat outside (we usually had a hat on her at least), so I needed this for extra protection. Additionally, my family likes to vacation at a cabin by a lake here in Utah. We like to joke there is a hole in the ozone in that area because EVERYONE gets terrible sunburns there. I am proud to say my baby did not even suffer from somewhat pink skin after using this sunscreen even after a full day outside. It is a little thick to put on and left her skin a little white, but honestly it is so worth it to keep her safe from chemicals and sunburns. Overall, I am a very happy momma and will continue to use this sunscreen in future years.
