Incredible picture very high-quality
I’m actually very impressed with this baby monitor, the picture is insanely clear and there is so many different functions to this baby monitor that it is right up there with some of the higher end monitors on the market. I like that you were able to access the monitor on the app as well so you don’t always have to carry the monitor around the house or anything like that you can actually just use your phone which is really nice if you’re going into a different room. I love that you’re able to talk to your baby through the monitor as well I find that feature pretty helpful when trying to put my little one down for a nap. I feel as if it has a great battery life compared to some of the older baby monitors I’ve used. I feel like this one has a longer battery life, which is something that I definitely am looking for when it comes to this type of thing. I also love that the cameras adjustable so that you can go in and maneuver it however you want if the baby moves or something of that nature that’s always a really great feature. Only dumb thing was the manual doesn’t offer a lot of information but since the monitor itself is very user-friendly, it kind of gets you somewhat started, and you can kind of figure out the rest yourself. I do wish it was a little bit more detailed though.

Exactly 1 redeeming quality – good luck with the rest
The only thing that’s good about this monitor is the 5Ghz no additional WiFi set up for the house works with existing network equipment as opposed to other cheap options on the market.As for the rest of the product, what a useless worthless piece of junk. I am CONSTANTLY adjusting cables millimeters to get the thing to charge. Doesn’t hold any charge, basically a hardwired piece of equipment cannot take it off the charger for a second because it never charges. It just survives while plugged in. App is garbage constantly. This stupidity of the cable being exact to get the device to charge caused my baby to wake up at 3am and we didn’t hear her, I got up anyway and saw her crying because this monitor constantly dies after cable not being angled correctly for 30 seconds.I tried 10 different usb c cables and all of them work fine elsewhere but this device is so lousy and can’t get charged.No hardware buttons for brightness and other buttons standard on baby monitors.Would recommend sleeping in your baby’s room before depending on this product.

Great baby monitor system
I’ve used other Arenti cameras in the past, and have been generally happy with them. This is no exception.Thought marketed as a baby monitor, it works as a general purpose IP camera as well. Setting this up through the app was simple (it just involved connecting to my WiFi network and scanning a QR code). As with previous cameras I’ve used from them, the image is clear, the intercom is loud and clear, and the pan/tilt is easy to control.While it works well with the included screen, I can also choose to connect it to my ARENTI NVR system, or to a third party system by enabling ONVIF.Speaking of the included screen, it is bright, and easy to see and has an easy to understand menu systemThe nightlight feature is also nice when being used as baby monitors in a children’s rooms. The color, and brightness can be adjusted to your liking, and a breathing effect can be applied.Also, as an aside, the bunny ears are cute, but they are removable if you feel silly about having them on your cameras 🙂

The camera itself had a good picture quality. It looks clear and good quality with adequate lighting, and the night view is decent as well and allows you to see baby even in dark. The sound is OK both ways – you can hear well and the sound from phone/monitor to camera is decent too.The manual isn’t very thorough at all. It helps you set it up and includes very basic info, but there are many features with this between the app and handheld monitor and the manual doesn’t expain them or offer help at all for most. The app has some FAQ, but it’s not very user friendly or easy to navigate, and it doesn’t explain the features at all. They include an email that you can use for other questions, but that is not convenient as who wants to wait for an answer and who knows how long that will stay active, and how adequate the response will be. I had to play around with it to figure out how to adjust alarm frequency or settings, and something like that seems pretty basic/standard and should be clearly explained in the manaul or instructions.Some nice features/pros:-ability to use both monitor and app.-adjustable/movable camera via monitor/app, or auto tracking-night light feature. Adjustable colors-adjustable alarms including temperature/humidity alarms, noise, motion or cry detection-long power cord for camera-ability to see who has access camera!! (For concerns of “hacking” or security threats via internet/wifi connection)-actually comes with charging port despite it being a USB charging cord-ability to record events** (with an SD card or cloud storage)-decent/good picture quality-“family” device management, able to add multiple people to view camera-Adjustable alert/alarm settings (definitely want to do this as it’s excessive if you leave it to the default settings with constant app notifications)-Large monitor screen, easy to use-able to add more cameras onto account (baby monitors, door bells, security cameras)-Connects to Alexa or Google home, although it’s unclear to me how this would be helpful or how this would workCons:-App isn’t the most user friendly-Manual is mostly for set up only, not helpful for features or usesgr questions-Have to pay for cloud storage to record events without SD card-Can only play music from monitor screen, when I try via app it says “NO SD card” which makes little sense to me-App doubles as markering/advertisement for the company trying to sell more cameras and cloud storageA concern I had with monitors that use wifi connection is the possibility of someone accessing it that shouldn’t be. There is a way to view who has accessed the camera which I appreciate and will put my mind at ease a bitA weird features is using the microphone via the app, you can choose regular audio, “clown audio” which is a high pitched voice, and “uncle” audio which made my voice sound like an unknown male. Maybe this would be soothing to babies who miss their Dad and Moms are trying to fool baby into thinking it is their Dad or uncle or something, but it’s very weird as I can’t imagine a voice of a total stranger being useful or soothing to my baby, as it certainly wouldn’t have been for my son.There was about 3 song choices from the monitor along with white noise. There seemed to be quite a few options, but they didn’t work as I didn’t put an SD card in. If you want to use that feature, and have event recording without paying for cloud storage then you’ll need an SD card, but you can absolutely use this as a standard baby monitor without it.I think even without the SD card, there is some event/alarm recording via the app – at least as long as it’s open? When I had the app open, it took a screenshot of the camera image at the time of the noise detection and saved to my phone. I was able to record a video on my phone as well. I am not sure what the difference is between event recording that requires the SD card or cloud storage and what can be done without it, as the manual has very limited information on this and the app isn’t very helpful as I’ve explained.I haf a standard monitor with my son, so most of these features are just “fluff” and not really neccessary, and I’m honestly unsure how much I’ll need/use them – although may be nice to have. But the monitor itself as in the image quality, sound quality, auto tracking, option to view via app or handheld monitor, etc are all good and the most important features of a baby monitor and I feel those are good quality so overall I’m content with it..
